Widowmaker or Sheldon Sabre? Who will be the next AWF Heavyweight Champion? Its a question we spent long hours debating internally and a question that will be answered in the comic book we are including with this figure.
We decided to release the Deluxe version of Sheldon Sabre because as a prototype piece his details are a top tier example of what we are trying to do in the minifigure realm. He is the poster child for 80’s wrestling excess, like if you mixed the persona’s of Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan with the cocky attitude of Mr Perfect Curt Henning.
Don’t worry though Widowmaker will come but we have some grand plans for his release, we will reveal those near the end of September and how we intend to celebrate our 1 year anniversary!
There will be 2 color options this time, Gold was not available in the time constraints we had to make the Con and may be made available at a later date or by request
- Thermal Color Change Blue to White
- Metallic Blue
And as has become custom for our prototype releases he will come packaged with the usual goodies

Are the Aztec gold versions less popular?
I can imagine people wanting to collect all the figures in one of the three color types.
Aztec Gold is always the lowest produced of the 3. Thermal Color Change is the hands down favorite, followed by Metallic and then Gold.
As I said there if there are any collectors who require Aztec gold they can just email me to talk about it. We might offer the gold edition up when we return from PowerCon
As for who gets the belt, that is a no comment and only known by Lee and myself :p
But we ARE working on the mini scale championship belt, the full life size edition is almost ready and the prototype of the mini is in final testing. Who knows maybe we will have it for our 1 year anniversary…

You can add my vote to those who’d be happy to purchase the Aztec Gold down the line. I’m down for all color variants.
