As most of you know by now we are always working ahead on things, with our Treegarr figure coming up for release in a few weeks we are now working on things for PowerCon.
Our friend Jukka Issakainen has been gracious enough to provide us with some art, and we figured some people might like to see that being worked out instead of just the final piece.

I like seeing sketches of comics/animations I enjoy.
I assume those are guide lines instead of gloves in the right sketch.
The only wrestler I can think of that would have such look would be Brutus Beefcake.
No you were right to think they are gloves, the sketch is meant to represent a variation of Sheldon and Sheldon has a win at any cost attitude so sometimes there might be something in the gloves (powder/salt, etc).
When we do art I basically tell my friends to follow the basic look but give then freedom for their own spin. I think doing that gives you a neat look into how other people see the characters and some variation 🙂
