Can you guys top that?
I wonder if the WWE read this comic and found inspiration for their “Face of the WWE” story line.
On the other hand Francis Foul certainly seems to take inspiration from a certain WWE character.
Sheldon is really shaping up to be a “bastard you love to hate”.
I want an “Old Yella” Barker figure!
With a “confused” variant!
Just wait…. the third comic is going to be a doozy! We try each time to top ourselves while telling a story that is interesting, so hope you guys enjoy the payoff when it happens 🙂
As for Francis Foul, while he might have some physical characteristics of certain personalities he is basically a combination of all the dirty/greedy promoters/general managers/managers that have existed in Pro Wrestling (your Vince McMahon, Paul E Dangerously, Jack Tunney, JJ Dillon). The idea behind him and the fact he is a duck actually came from my friend Brian Stevenson from Spy Monkey Creations.
We have 3 refs, the first one you see in the Concept Art for Goliath (he is a cricket), this is the second and we have a 3rd official who is a Hamster.
