Marty has been extremely hard at work cleaning up and tightening the jumbo 5.5″ scale Leo sculpt. We figured you guys might like to see the progress.
We are hoping to be done by C2E2 and have a extremely limited run of these figures in this huge size ready, but it all depends on time constraints. There has been a lot of interest in this jumbo sized figure and its reception could greenlight other jumbo sized figures as a fun alternative/limited release.
We told you earlier where we would be this Spring, well one of the many things we will have with us is this
This very limited edition printing will have over 60 pages of content which include Volume 1-3 as well as some never before seen material such as cut panels and unfinished pages. We figured it would be a neat way to introduce people to MWOTR, and a great collectible for fans who want to have it all collected in one printing.
If you were needing a ticket to qualify for the Mail Away, wanted some neat color options or wanted to complete your 2013 Prototype collection the made to order sale is now live. It will run till Sunday at midnight.
Just remember to put your color choice in the comments section of your order when you checkout, we felt that was easier then to list 3 options for each figure (color change, metallic, gold)
These prototypes will ship between Mid-March and late April due to our two back to back convention stops. Because of this the mail order form has now been updated with a 6/15/2014 expiration date.
With tomorrow’s made to order sale coming up, one of the many emails I have gotten is fans wanting pics of the color change we have dubbed “Grape Ape”. This was a “test” we did late last year, the final may be a tab more pink but this gives the general idea of how the color change goes
Remember this sale will go on Thurs-Sun night, since its made to order and we have 2 Conventions coming up we are aiming to get all the figures shipped out by Mid March/April
And the new updated redemption form for the Yvonne mailaway will be live by the time the sale goes live, so if you were just needing 1 figure/1 ticket to complete your mail away you will now have some extra time to send in your redemption form due to the time needed to get these made to order figures made and shipped.
Starting this Thursday at Noon CST we will begin offering a 4 day made to order service where you can pickup the urethane collectors editions of the 3 figures we sent to China. We understand people may not be interested due to the release of these figures in PVC which is why we are doing them made to order.
The sale will take place at MWOTR’s original home Fantastic Plastic Toys
Each will cost $25, if you buy all 3 they will be shipped free anywhere in the USA
They will come branded for the Hellish Holidays Pay Per View Event and contain
As the week goes on we will have some images of the cardbacks and mockups of the figures
These will ship sometime in Mid-March-Early May. Due to our 2 back to back Convention appearances we will be unable to get these produced in our normal 30 day window.
Since these figures will come with commemorative event tickets that qualify for the Yvonne Wolfrom mail away figure, we will extend the Mail Away promotion to June 15th 2014 (an updated redemption form will be online today or tomorrow)
Convention season begins very soon for us! We have a number of exclusive releases/projects in the works and so if you can come out and visit with us we look forward to seeing you.
We will tentatively be attending Kansas City’s Planet Comicon 3/14-3/16, located in Kansas City Convention Center – Bartle Hall.
Following that we will be at C2E2 in Chicago 4/25-4/27, once again being hosted by the awesome Nerd City!
At both conventions we will have our full scale AWF Title Belt on Display, as well as a selection of PVC releases as well as some other surprises 😉
It has been a while since we heard from Ulric, injured and without his title he seems to have been pushed aside to the current rivalry between Widowmaker and Sheldon Sabre.
But he is always around, and looking to get his revenge 😉 We have plans for Ulric, he was the first character we ever created and he has some interesting story arcs coming as well as a new look that we debuted at PowerCon 2013
As you saw in Widowmakers Bio, Hellish Holidays is our next Pay Per View event on 1/30. This is where we will have our made to order remaining 3 Prototypes from 2013 available to buy.
The main event is the rematch between Sheldon Sabre and Widowmaker with special guest referee Kayin Kungaa
These prototypes will come with the standard fare you have become used to

This “classic” dress version of Yvonne will never be released in PVC or as a regular resin release. So this will be your only opportunity to add this version to your collection.

First off, on Wednesday night the MWOTR Family endured a unexpected but equally crushing and tragic loss of a cherished family member. Because of this updates will come as I have time, I had about 3 planned at the time of this event.
