It was a great weekend, we gained a lot of new customers and all orders placed Fri-Sun have been shipped! With all the excitement surrounding the PVC, the news on the site has been somewhat slowed. We are now going to be returning to a more normal course of reveals, behind the scenes looks, and bios in the coming weeks.

Today we are very proud to show this character off, the brainchild of True Cast Studio’s Joshua Edwards combined with a truly awesome interpretation by MWOTR Concept Artist Jazyl Homavazir. We have been working this one for a few months and its now ready to show off.

When we made the move to PVC there was some concern about how those releases would be packaged, would they be boxed? carded? bagged with a header card? So we spent several weeks working up various designs and running the gambit of packaging, weighing the time and costs for each.

It was decided that a sticker would be the best avenue in order to keep costs as low as possible, while still putting out a visually interesting product. And we really liked how our friends at the 4H were doing their Power Lords release stickers, so we designed something similar.

Featuring some stunning artwork by MWOTR Concept Artist Jazyl Homavazir (Beast Legion Creator), we really like how this turned out. So much so we will be adding it as a T-Shirt Option in our store as well.

These stickers will most likely not be ready for this Friday’s Post NYCC Drop and the artwork is still being tweaked, but it should start featuring on all PVC sets going forward.

We had a great time at NYCC, and our toys went to a lot of new homes! We made sure to hold back a portion of our 1st production for sale online.

That sale will take place Friday October 18th 2013 at around Noon CST at the True Cast Studio Store, hopefully we had enough produced so that everyone who wants one can get one.

Next month is our actual 1 Year Birthday month and we will have quite a few updates including the reveals and details for the Mail Away Figure, new bios, and some new Legends concept art!

We are going to step away from NYCC Coverage for a bit to show off something we thought was really cool. One of our diehard fans Jevon and his kids created this ring entrance playset to display their collection of MWOTR, using things they had on hand like the stickers that came with the coloring kit and the art card that came with War Games.

We are always thinking of creative ways to expand the MWOTR universe in terms of production, Jevon’s idea here could be one of those expansions that would work well with our “environments” we are currently working on (Locker Room, Steel Cage Attachment, etc)

I also came up with some interesting poses/play sessions the past week, the PVC is really much more flexible then I have ever expected it to be which is GREAT for playing with them
