It has been sometime since we revealed a sculpt so we figured this one was due.
We will start things off tomorrow with his Bio card, followed up by a look at his original concept sketch, then we will cap the week off by showing you the first ever look at the sculpt for this 2014 Giant!

People have asked me from time to time do I keep one of everything we release, the answer is no. I usually do not keep any of the general urethane releases.
Here is a inside look at my collection of Mystical Warriors of the Ring….well what I can show you guys since I do have 2014 figures in my possession as well.
Most of the painted figures are done by Charles “Monsterforge” Marsh, Marty “THEGODBEAST” Hansen painted the Ulric 1.0 Prototype for me.

We figured it would be neat to see how our Big Leo print scales, as you can see he is almost 4x the size of the original minifigure
If the guys at True Cast Studio can work their magic we have a special project for C2E2. Here is a tease from that project.
We have always said we wanted to do 2 things, the first was make it to PVC Production to lower costs and to be in some form of retail to reach a broader customer base.
Last month we made the first a reality and we happy to announce we have now begun to fulfill the second goal.

When we started this line we decided we would reward those who bought our collector pieces with a mail away for them to redeem their ticket stubs.
The requirements have changed a little bit with the addition of the PVC line and we are in the process of finalizing the details and creating the redemption form. Originally we had said you would need all the event releases and the figure would be discounted over the normal cost.
With the PVC line being release we will only be requiring 3 tickets, and that could be made up of any of the releases (Treegarr’s release gave a golden ticket that qualifies) and the cost will be $10-15 + shipping and handling.
If you missed out on any of the collectors releases and need the required tickets you will get one more chance when we release the 3 remaining prototypes as collectors pieces in a made to order format. Each collectors piece will come with an event ticket that will qualify for the mail away
With that said, the 2014 Preview Figure we have chosen to release as the mail away is going to be Yvonne Wolfrom in her dress
*the prototype shown here is in a bigger scale then the actual figure, like Leo it was a test to see what a 1.5x print would yield. The final version of Yvonne will be in line with Ulric, Widowmaker and Sheldon.
Now those worried they will miss out on Yvonne completely, don’t worry you will get a chance to buy her in 2014 in her wrestling outfit as seen on the Lapin Loco t-shirt
One of the reasons we opted for digital sculpting over “tradtional” sculpting was the idea that if we needed/wanted to we could scale it to another size for new projects with ease.
Currently our models are sized and scaled for 2″ to be compatible with M.U.S.C.L.E. and other industry standard minifigure lines
However we wanted to play around and see what would happen if we scaled it upwards for perhaps a one off vinyl doll or even a statue. Thanks to the awesome and pioneering Hauke Scheer (Founder of Deep Fried Figures & creator of the Mechawhale) we tested out this very theory over the weekend.
Seen here is an actual 5.5″ scaled Leo Corazon, remember Leo is shorter than all the other “standard” size figures so he is scaled similar here. You can see him next to the Mechawhale and then the Mechawhale next to a 2012 Playmates TMNT Figure for scale reference.
And just before anyone asks, we are not changing the focus of MWOTR.
This is merely a test but could yield something neat very soon which will tie into our Legends line and something I think fans who have been with us from the beginning might enjoy!
Stickers are here and we think they look great, these stickers will be placed on the package from this point forward. This sticker will change for Exclusives or things like Glow in the Dark and Clear (should we opt to run those).
This helps identify the product, and keeps costs exactly the same.
We love seeing our stuff collected by other people, so we were thrilled to receive some of these pics from fans!
Apparently that 50% off Zazzle deal was too good to pass up and the timing worked out to where fans got their PVC orders and their t-shirts in the same time frame.
