We figured it would be neat to show the process involved, this particular figure from concept to realization took about 3 months. Of course once refined a figure could theoretically be produced in 3 weeks if everything gelled and everyone’s schedule was free

We welcome to the world Ulric Wolfrom, no longer just in my imagination or in 2D

Many thanks to our digital sculptor Simon Grell for an incredible job! Now to bring this sculpt into reality. This sculpt can scale as low as 2″ or as high as 12″. The challenge now will be to see if we lose any details on production and if we do can they possibly be restored by our prototyper Marty Hansen

We sure did, and we are overjoyed to announce that the great Simon Grell will be doing the digital sculpting of Ulric Wolfrom into a 2″ scaled figure

We would like to extend a warm welcome to German 3D Designer Evil Mike, he will be creating a 2″ compatible AWF World Heavyweight Championship Belt that the figures will be able to fight over

This is part of our move into the 3D realm for 2013, the flexibility it allows us in sculpts will compliment the work of THEGODBEAST and allow us to pursue video games, animations, and future tech with more ease.

We will also be using 3D Sculpting for additions to our wrestling ring, and pending test shots some 2″ figure creations.

The intention is that each figure will be carded. We are finishing up the card art as we speak and are awaiting proofs from the printer. Each card will be hand numbered on the front with the characters bio card on the backside (just like in the 80’s). We realize that many 2″ figures are either bagged or carded on small cards. But we are treating our toy line similar to it being a 3 3/4-4″ toyline.

I think once everything is packaged and ready to go, people will like the direction we have chosen.

However, this is all still in the planning stages. We have a variety of packaging options open to us so we will just have to see what works best.

We also may also have some cool news very soon on a few of our figures being rendered in 3D for future products (video games, animations) and production.
